I wish you could smell this. This almond scented glue stick. Luckily it is solvent free so no worries about becoming a solvent abuser. It came from the lovely Little Pink Studio together with these flowers in delicious sweet shop colours. The whole parcel was wonderful -even the polystrene chips are pink! Thank you Cerri - I'll be back to visit you soon.
“ . . .of the flowers in Devon.” I was mightily relieved. Even quite proud, that he could conjure up memories so readily from a wisp of a scent on the air. I wonder whether she was wearing Devon violets?
The Made in Pixieland shop is been stocked this week with lots of fab Christmas goodies. Here's a sneak preview.
Look at these toadstool Christmas decorations.
And these bunches of (fake) mistletoe.
And this lovely spotted ribbon on a gorgeous wooden spool.
And last but not least, these aren't for the Christmas section at all. Actually I am going to add a vintage style section just because it's my shop and I can do what I want to.
These glass handles which come in small and medium and in green and (germoline) pink and are painted with little flowers and look like they should be on Granny's dressing table. Sigh . . . these made me very happy indeed when they finally arrived. Now I just have to find the perfect dressing table on which to put them.
Yes that is the peculiar logic I use. Buy the handles before you get the piece of furniture. And buy them in bulk too, just in case. Anyway I'm sure some of you will like them too and they are very reasonably priced too. If not, I am more than happy to keep them all!
I nearly forgot, Made in Pixieland is at Rolvenden Farmer's Market this Thursday and every Thursday up until the 11th December. On the first week my stall was positioned between the cake and the beer so obviously my reputation proceeds me. I will be in a different part of the market each week as they like to keep it interesting. I met some lovely people and managed to buy groceries and provisions for the week. If you are in the area, please come and say hello. And if you do, I might even give you a sniff of my glue stick!
